What is the legal drinking age in New York?
The age to consume alcohol is 21.
What is the legal age to sell alcohol in New York?
The age to sell packaged liquor is 18. The age to pour and/or serve alcohol is 18.
What is the DUI Limit in New York?
.08 BAC is the DUI limit for consumers 21 and older.
Is New York a Dram Shop Law State?
Yes. Servers of alcohol may be held liable for serving underage and/or visibly intoxicated patrons.
Is responsible alcohol training mandatory in New York?
It is not currently mandatory, but is highly recommended. Many employers require it, as it can greatly reduce their liquor liability insurance.
- Cinema West Theatre Does New York have a corkage law?
As long as the establishment has a license to sell wine and the wine was purchased and consumed with a meal, customers may take home one partially consumed bottle. The bottle must be resealed and placed into a securely sealed transparent bag and the dated receipt must be enclosed with the bottle.
